resolution prob

i try to set the resolution to over 1024 by 768 and there is an error saying: out of range 74.9mhz v75mhz ... what do i have to do?! i go a athlon643200+
and a geforce6600gt!!

What kind of monitor do you have? How old is it?

From your error message, it looks like the monitor can't handle going above 1024x768 at a 75Hz refresh rate. Try bumping it down to 70 or 60Hz, if your eyes aren't bothered.

my monitor is a new crt
also, when i play nfsu2, the image is like a mosaic... just loads of squares on 1024 by 768 resolution ...it looks crap but my machine is high spec

Do you have the latest video card drivers and DirectX installed?
