You have to read this over at the depot (http://www.gamers-depot.com/interviews/agiea/001.htm) about the Ageia Physics Processing Unit.

Physics on a chip? Just think what this could bring. What's next, AI on a chip? Games would be so interactive and will really change the face of games. Sign me up for one. Hopefully they're not too expensive. The end of the year can't come fast enough.

Ageia's PPU is an important step in the right direction as it can take the current limit of 30-40 bodies of today's high-end CPUs to a maximum of 40,000

That is really cool! One question though. With all of those special chips what will be left for the CPU? :D

I hope they go public sooner than later. This sounds like a great investment. My best guess is as the article said, they are purchased by Nvidia or ATI before they go public.

No doubt... and then Dragons $100-$400 goes to $300-$600
