Remote Desktop Problem

I am trying to connect to my work via remote desktop but keep on getting the following error.

I have tried to connect using two different computers, and the same thing happens for both. I was able to connect from dorm earlier this year, but now it doesn't seem to want to let me. I would assume it is a problem with the firewall here, but what throws me off is how it can get part of the logon screen to come up and then freeze. Anyone have a solution?

are those computer are on LAN ? or are you trying to connect remotely using dialup or broadband?

I am on LAN at my school trying to connect to my work's server (which is on DSL). It has worked in the past, and I don't believe anything has changed since the last time I tried to connect.
