AVG Alternative

I've been using AVG Free Edition. Is there another free AV that will allow me to set a schedule for scans so they will auto scan. That's the one thing i liked about mcafee AV. I could set a schedule and it would scan. AVG won't let me, it says I have to purchase the AVG Pro or something.

i use AVG free Edition and it does allow me to set the schedule...i'm using version 7.0.308

Open AVG control center->click on Scheduler->and in bottom click Scheduled Tasks-> and now you can edit the TEST schedule to what ever you like to be.

Yep, AVG Free Edition let's you set a schedule, not only for scanning, but also for d/ling virii updates.
