i am unable to do trend online
and
windows update due to the current security settings prohibit message about active x
i have performed the microsoft advise and still cannot get past that message. i have tried changing all the options to prompt and still am getting the message. what else can i try to get past this?

Add http://*.trendmicro.com and https://*.trendmicro.com to your trusted sites list. You should be in business, and that site won't harm your PC if you put it in the trusted sites zone. Be sure to uncheck "require https for trusted zone"

i already installed and ran mcafee
right now i added the two addresses microsoft says to ad for trusted sites for windows update to work and it did not help.
any other knowledge about this?
