I know I have chatted with someone on MSN who was using a Gmail account, but that was a long time ago. I no longer have that address to find out how they got their Gmail account and MSN Messenger to work.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a Gmail account to work with MSN Messenger, if so how?

I have one more question- do you know how long on average it takes for Microsfot to verify an e-mail address? I have tried to verify my e-mail address a few times around 10:00 am today, it claimed they sent me the e-mail, it's 2:00pm now, I haven't got anything. . . I've recieved other e-mails, but nothing from MS.

Any idea how long this process takes?

Thats what I had thought, but it did eventually show up a day or two later. . . I do have my Gmail working with MSN, so there is no more need for me to keep my hotmail account, yay! I wonder if MS just doesn't like the Gmail accounts or something.

They might not because they compete with hotmail but I don't think that should have the biggest effect.

does anyone know if you can use the 'go to mailbox' link in MSN to go to your GMAIL inbox? i know you couldwith a hotmail address but its not working for me :/

Well I want to ask if anyone knows how to verify the gmail account created for using msn messenger? Plz tell me how to reach the verification email. I got the verification email but dont know how and where should I go [inbox or watever] to get the respective email so that I can verify the account. Plz help!
