Its taking maybe 5 minutes on my Outlook 2000 (exchange server) to receive e-mail and have it be automatically moved down into my personal folders. Now if I hit my "send and receive" button then I get it immediately, but I can't seem to find a time interval or a scheduler where I could have my Outlook send and receive automatically say every xx seconds/minutes. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks

Turbo91Bird,
Not 100% sure the following steps will be spot on with OL2000, but it should at least be similar...
-Go to TOOLS and then SEND/RECEIVE
-Then go to SEND/RECEIVE SETTINGS
-Click on DEFINE SEND/RECEIVE GROUPS
Here you should be able to set up an automatic send/receive or if it's already set, then you should be able to specify the time you desire.
Note: I think the lowest possible setting is 1 minute

I'm on Outlook 2003, but I believe the steps are the same:
• Tools - Options - Mail Setup tab - Send Receive... button - Settings for Group "All Accounts"
Check the box for "Schedule automoatic send/receive every..." and specify your time. I believe it's only in minutes so you can't do every x seconds.
Hopefully 2000 is the same, otherwise I haven't helped much have I. ;)

LoL, naw, 2000 isn't the same. It doesn't give me that option for some reason. Any other ideas?

That's strange and everything I search results in nothing. The oldest version of OL that I have is 2002...so I can't load it and look around. Have you checked the Help file within Outlook 2000?

Yeah and all it does is talk about remote mail and sycronizing offline folders.

Sorry, there isn't a Mail Delivery Tab in my Options menu. Only this.
