Can't seem to clear address bar

I can't seem to clear the list of websites typed into the address bar in IE. I'm trying to clean up all the crap on my system, I've ran disk cleanup, cleared all cookies etc, but the list in the address box still remains. How do I clean it out....Thanks.

In internet options of your IE, go to the content tab and then go to auto complete and try to clear your addresses there. I think that should do it....This is in Win XP btw.
