APM question

Is there any way to turn "off" APM in the Award BIOS?

I have the options of "min..", Max.." and "user define" but no clean "disable".

If there isn't a switch, so-to-speak, then does disabling everything within "user-define" do the trick?

Also, can I remove the APM controller from Win98, or will Windows keep "finding" it for me?

Most BIOS`s have a "disable". In your case, max out the values will essentially disable APM support. Also, in Win9x, in the control panel, choose the "battery" icon and tell win9x NOT to use APM.
