Help with viruses

Hey guys i think i may have downloaded a couple of viruses. I have mcafee security center 5.0 and i have done at least 5 virus scans and they find a bunch of "potentially unwanted" programs. And i delete them all or quarantine them. But i keep getting these popups that say mcafee has deleted this file as a part of the cleaning process because it was infected by different viruses. Some names are: General Downloader.aa and Dealhelper. They give me tons of pop ups and its really annoying. Thanks guys.

Read my post: "many infections". Download, update and run those programs from safe mode.

If you have not already done so, read the stickys at the beginning of this thread, particularly: "if you suspect you have a virus".

After you have completed all of the basics, report back here and post a hijackthis log if necessary.

Go to www.trendmicro.com and click on their online scan called Housecall. See what it gives you. You may need to boot into Safe Mode and then run your AV program to get the files deleted.
