how do i find out how many wpm i type? lol its on my job application and obviously its not really a necessary thing to work in a store but i thought id find out anyway just to check

Search the forums... we all did a test late last year I think, and it showed wpm and accuracy

ill take a look. i type fast but i can only type consistently well on basic normal sized keyboards. i tried typing on the school computers today for the test and i couldnt get the words right let alone a speed over 50wpm

17wpm... hay I have only been typeing 8 hours a day for about 5 years gime a break.

Im between 65 and 70. Although maybe it's a bad thing that I only use two of the fingers on my right hand. Shrug.

When I was trying it out I was getting between 60 and 70 WPM.

As sort of a side note, I have some friends at college who are piano and organ players. Now those guys can type fast allright.

I must be a little rusty, took the test three times, averaged 64WPM after correcting for accuracy. My accuracy was 95%. Used to be able to type 70~75 around 95~98% accracy. Guess I'm gettin lazy, must be doing too much surfing using just my MX1000 :rolleyes:

30-40, but i don't type that much at all. Just for writing papers and stuff. Eh...school...
