Master/Slave?

I was windering about when setting up two hard drives(master/slave) do u have to regulate what info goes to which or is it divided up equally? i dont really understand this part. thanx :)

The slave is generaly just like an extension to "My Documents", you create folders and store any thing that you wish to archive, back up or just generally not access that often. I have all my music files, photos and software that came as a download saved in different folders on my slaves.

ok so like when i go to save something or download then i can choose which drive right?

That is correct, just create a folder and when you download something or want to save something, click download/save and just browse/navigate to the slave drive and applicable folder.
