dvd - access unreferenced material

i bought a bunch of dvd's, and, like i do with all my dvd's, i began to back them up. when i was doing this with dvd shrink, i noticed a section i had never seen before called Unreferenced Material. i am guessing this means there is video on the dvd with no menu pointing to it. so, my question is, what would i have to do to access that video? i assume i would have to rebuild a new menu, so any help on that would be great. thanks a bunch
