"It's a little too much for me to handle," said Steve Hepburn, of Clearfield. "It's like trying to eat half a cow."
hahahahahahahhahaaaaaaa :D :D
WOW. Now that thing really would deserve the designator "Whopper" :D

Cool, maybe now I'll feel satisfied when I eat a burger. I usually have at least 2 (sometimes up to 4) because they're just little dinky things...kinda like potato chip bags these days...more air in em then chips.

My goodness... what's next? Pretty soon you will need a forklift license to pick up your lunch at the drive through window!!
I'm with you Force. I'm only about 180lbs. but most fast food places just don't satisfy me. Back in High School, I used to order my standard lunch:
• 1 Big Mac - Extra Cheese
• 2 Cheeseburgers - Extra Cheese
• Med. Fries (no cheese on those)
• Large Coke
Don't worry, I don't do that anymore. Not since I watched "Super-size Me"! About the only "chain resteraunt" burger up here that fills me up is Lick's burgers. The Back Home Burger with Cheese (suprise!). Comes with a slice of Back Bacon on it. (insert drooling sound here)

He, and I thought I was doing well when I ate the biggest burger around these parts the other day. It's available at a restaurant/bar in small IA town. Only around 1lb of beef or so, but it did become a little chewy towards the end.:) Then again I ate it in less than half an hour ....

and go to his entry on Wednesday, August 27, 2003, he points out something interesting about the rate at which things like fast food are increasing. Also, you might want to check out the whole blog I've learned alot reading it

Fast foods consumption has gained since folks are too busy nowadays to cook, and often is cheaper. Me living alone it's easier to grab a burger, pizza, etc., however I've begun eating some of the frozen quickies like Lean Quisine, etc. to get the supposed nutrition.

Having a wok and some bamboo steamer baskets is convenient. Just stick some vegetables in the trays, fill the wok with water, heat it until it boils and in ten minutes you have some good food. I've tried to cut back on the fast food a lot due to how horrible it is for you, and now I just eat Panda Express or Subway when the mood strikes.

Yeah, I eat fast food once every blue moon nowadays, fortunately I get good food cooked for me. When I was at a different place, the food was horrible and I was eating junk 2-3 times a week after sports training.
I agree with Gonzo... nothing is easier (or tastier) than a self-made Asian food cooked in a wok with rice. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM yum
I liked the top post better than the food one, Punk... food for thought [:D Unintended pun but I'll take it]

im just wondering.. How fat are we getting here? i mean the fact that we have to eat 15 pound cheeseburgers is rediculous lol. I heard about a restauraunt that had a cheeseburger with 2 krispy kreme donuts in the middle. This is getting out of hand lol.

I think that not only is the actual size of the burger impressive, but look at the amount of toppings. An entire head of lettuce, 25 slices of cheese, two onions, three tomatoes, a cup and a half of (each) mustard, ketchup, peppers, relish and mayo. Hmm, I wonder if you still get the prize if you eat the whole thing but don't get the mayo on it...

for me its hard to understand how people get so overweight... i mean if you just watch what you eat and excersize.. you wont get that way... im about 5'9" and i weigh like 135. Im pretty small but i go on walks with my wife on a regular basis to keep my weight down. I also have a high metabolism so i dont have problems keeping down my weight.

People around here would probably pass out if they heard someone order that burger. I only say this because awhile back my brother and I went to Wendy's and since I hadn't had much to eat all day, I ordered their triple meat cheeseburger meal. After ordering it, I noticed the grill cooks seemed to be asking each other more questions and they kept looking up at the monitor that the orders come up on for them to cook. I couldn't hear what they were saying but apparently the girl taking our order could because she rolls her eyes, turns around, and says "YES, it's REALLY a triple!!!" This was closely followed by the cooks all looking up there at me to see what kind of a person could actually eat their triple meat burger. Heck, I even had the fry person staring at me! I thought "Geez, does nobody ever order a triple meat burger around here or what?!" :D

And modern conveniences are making that much much easier.
