There are several wires in the computer case that are for things like the Hard Drive, lights that let on know if the computer is on or not etc.

I am pretty sure how and where they should be connected. My problem is knowing which wire is positive or negative. Within each pair one of the wires is always white. The other wire is a another color. I am sure I am looking at the answer STILL I don't have a clue as to which wire is positive or negative.

Thanks! :)

Look at the end of the wires where the connection is. A + or - should be shown by each hole. If you don't have the best eyes you might need to look close. It will only be on one side.

White wires are generally the common or negative lead. If it has to do with power, yhey will be black.

Polarity is not sensitive on buttons and switches. It is for LED's, but if you get it backwards you won't hurt anything, the LED either won't work or it will be on all the time.
