Didn't know where to post this, so I figured I'd start here.

A good friend of mine is a pastor of a church just north of us. They just bought a new building (new to them) from the county to be used as their new church (the old one stood in the way of the new county courthouse). Well, the county decided to leave some items of interest behind, one of them being their entire telecommunication rig. I know what most of the stuff is and have ways the church can either use the equipment or I know people who are interested in buying it some parts of it.

But then there's the phone system. It's pretty beefy and most of it the church just does not need. It's older, by the dates on the maintainance tags it was installed in late '92. It's made by TIE Communications, TCX-128 model 86003. It's a 24 line, 64 port router and a newer data port with 16 ethernet ports. The power supply is in great shape and everything seems to run very well.

What we want to know, is what is a fair market value for this equipment? I've searched the web and can only find repair costs and upgrades for this equipment. The county stopped using it in 1999 and had a new system installed which is what the church will use.

Any help on this would be preatly appreciated.

http://repairtech.com/index.htm

Try the link.

Expect to get 10%-20% of what they would sell the parts minus shipping.
Cost to test, some parts may be bad, cost to sell..... etc
