Yup... knew that.. hopefully they dont screw it up as its a great program. Just readjusted my 5 partitions a couple weeks ago.. may be throwing in another drive soon and adjusting again.

They have owned it for a pretty good while. They also recently merged with Veritas, who is one of the big players in backup software (Backup Exec).

.. hopefully they dont screw it up as its a great program...I hear that. Sadly, Symantec has a history of buying great software (and utilities) and turning it into something not so great, or just eliminating it. Think Tank was a great program, Symantec bought it, changed to Grand View (a nice program) then then dumped it. (I'm still trying to find a modern day replacement for either of those two.) They bought the name "Norton" and turned his work into less and less with each release. With each release of Norton System Works, you have less functionality and I haven't even bothered upgrading from the 2003 version...and I used to upgrage with each release.
