Great, though I don't think I can make anything like that anytime soon

If he really did all that in MSPaint then wow, I'm impressed.

Those of us with no artistic talent whatsoever just stare in awe when we see something like this. What an amazing piece of work!

I'll sit quietly in the "no artistic skills, staring in awe" section with PR! wow!

That is mind-blowing. And to think it was done in MS Paint.

Wow, that's pretty amazing. I actually have a degree in Fine Arts and have played with MSPaint a bit...from a technical standpoint the work that went into that image is almost mind boggling. Gotta give props to the artist...trying to draw with MSPaint is like trying to do a fine drawing with gorilla hands and crayons.

Brilliant... I struggle with manipulating photos on mspaint, it's so cumbersome.

I'm with yah jag..its impossible to get anything done..

that picture is truly amazing, that is certainly one thing I will never be, an artist.

The light reflecting off the water and the light against the buildings and shading is pretty amazing. Thats some talent! Like doing a Rembrandt with Crayons.

Wow. I'm especially impressed at the depiction of the lake farther down. A masterpiece, indeed.

Now I have an even better appreciation for this pic. I saved it to one of My Pics files and set it as the desktop background. Incredible how this looks on a 19" lcd!

a drawing that i used mspaint to draw with alittle photophop bluring

So he did use a little bit of Photoshop...but really, the very few effects he used to finish it up are nothing compared to the incredible work he did in paint. I really can't believe how well done that is. My paint creations look like kindergarten artwork.

How do you get them to look like that? I can't do that good.

Okay, maybe I was being a little generous in my assessment of my own mspaint skills.

Agreed, I just tried it on my 18" CRT, and it's amazing.

looks like something drawn in vectorworks or something.

OK, now I feel belittled... I just tried to draw some waves in paint to explain how a Sattellite Imaging Radar gets different dynamic ranges from different incidence angles, and it looks like poop, to be honest :(

lol its because he used vectorworks. That wasnt just artistic ability there. Anyone can do something like that on vectorworks on a computer if your given the time and training on how to use the program.

Thanks Cricket. WOW, I can't believe someone did that with mspaint. Won't see me doing anything like that anytime soon, or ever.
