CD-rom appears as card reader

Just installed a Sony CD-RW drive and for some reason it appears as a 'Card Reader' in My Computer but as a CD-Rom in Device manager.

The CD-Rom has no CD inside and i've attempted reinstalling the drivers via device manager - any suggestions?
