To many fans?

My pc might have to many fans, but i filled all the slots up. Its 120mm, cpu fan, northbridge fan, and 3 80mm fans. Also my PSU fans which have a fan controller on it so thats not a concern. I have the option of lowering the fans but really dont want to, if i have to i will but i was on www.frozencpu.com and they have fan silencers that are these little rubber washer things and they stop the vibrations. but i dont know if those work or if there are betters products to use.Or am i better of water cooling it? So if you could please help me out that would be very helpful thanks.

Those rubber grommets only help isolate the fan vibrations from the case, they do nothing to reduce the whoosing sound created by the spinning fan blades.

To reduce noise you can reduce the speed of the fans, reduce the number of fans in the case, look for a passive cooling solution (no fans) or go with water cooling.

Do you think you could find me a good water cooling kit that comes with everything thats not that pricey.(pentuim 4 socket 478). Im alittle shaky when it comes to water cooling, i have never messed with it or looked into it much. Also what is a passive cooling system?

Edit: Also are there such things as covers for your 80mm holes for your fans? When i bought my psu it was alittle big so i had to take out the top fan and would like to cover it up or something...

Passive cooling systems are ones that use no water and no fans to cool your equipment, for example heat pipes, very simply what they are is a heatsink with a few copper tubes rising from it usually leading to another upper heatsink platform, and just by using the nature of copper's conductivity, it lifts the heat away from the hardware using no fans and no water

They do a review of about 5 water cooling kits that could also serve as a basic tutorial. The $100 USD Cooler Master Aquagate Mini won their coveted "Kick Ass" award.
