I'm going to network my 3 computers that I have. I'm mostly going to use the network for games, and cable internet connection. So i was wondering, what kind of network should I get 10/T or 100/tx (im new w/ this stuff!) is there alot of speed difference in the two will 100/tx help out alot for what IM using it for? thanks!!!!

100 is considerably faster, but not necessarily more expensive. I use Startech 10/100 cards (Realtek 8139 chipsets) as they are very inexpensive, easy to set up in all flavors of Windows and also automatically set up on my Linux box. Grab yourself a Linksys router to share your internet connection and tie all three machines together for network gaming fun :D

A linksys router is your best bet unless you really want to save money. Then you would install couple nics on your server, set up M$ internet connection sharing. Buy a cheap hub to connect your other 2 computer to the server.
