I just installed Corel Photopaint on a new hard drive. I forgot to do a custom install to prevent all of my graphics files from being associated with the program. Every file I had (.bmp., .jpeg, .gif, .tiff, etc.) became a "Photopaint image". So, I uninstalled the program and restored my registry to yesterday.
All the associations went back to what they were before the install. But, when I try to open a jpeg file I get this message (even tho' mspaint will open the file anyway):
"cannot find the file 'C:\place and location\file name'
(or one if it's components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available."
does anyone know how to fix this so the error message will not popup?
if I open the program first, then browse to a jpeg, it will open it without the error message........
