Usb cord to power cord

I don't know if this is possible or not but is there a way to convert a USB cable into a power cable with a molex end. I only need it to power some cold cathode lights. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

I doubt it because...

1. USB is external and Molex is internal, so you'll have some ugly cabling
2. USB ports don't give out enough power
