k here we go. A lot of ppl say that water cooling kits are garbage and say build your own. Well what exactly does this mean does this mean buy the best parts (from diff companies) or does this mean go to home depot and get ur self some supplys?
and what is better a heater core, radiator, thermochill?

Austin,
I did both. I bought both a Koolance kit, additional Koolance liquid graphics card coolers not included in the kit and a Dangerden chipset cooler for my computer.
One cannot accurately label all watercooling kits as garbage I have a pretty darn nice setup in my opinion.
I don't think you can say a kit is better or worse than buying the parts individually.
It really depends on your budget, what your trying to accomplish and your own preferences.
There are too many variables to label all kits as garbage

The only thing you may find at Home Depot is the vinyl tubing..and they sell a low grade, stiff tubing that is too rigid to make the bends without kinking. Look for tubing with a higher silicone content. I replaced my cheap tubing wih Tygon tubing which has a tighter bend radius.
Dangerden has a great website if you want to buy individual components. The same applies to Koolance. Koolance also sells kits. There are a few other companies which sell water cooling kits which escape me right now. I found them by doing a Google search and doing searches for water cooling comparisons and reviews.
There are some things to learn but watercooling is not hard. You just have to do your research before buying. I spent a number of evenings reading about it before buying. I think its worth it.
I would start doing Google searches for systems you like and dont like. Learn the why's and how's of watercooling first.
