This is what i do to reinstall win me on my computer after formatting c:

1)Used a win me boot disk and booted computer
2)at prompt, i said "yes" for a large disk support(non-dos)
3)Created primary partition and made it active and then created extended with one logical drive of d: --> total HDD size is 19 GB
4)Then format c drive with this partitions with fdisk
5)Run setup.exe for win me through cd drive.
6)ANd then while it is installing, the win me cd does not finish its setup because i needed to create a dos-partition, when fat32 is non dos.

but then when i use a dos boot disk, i will do the same procedure as above and it will show me that only have 7 GB total HDD space and win me will work and setup....

i want a FAT32 partition, since it gives me more space. HELP ME OUT SOMEBODY

Well, I'll tell you again. FAT32 IS A DOS PARTITION. You CANNOT create a NON DOS partition with the DOS utility FDISK. Windows will ONLY run on DOS partition, FAT or FAT32. Since you have already admitted (http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13413) that your version of Windows ME is a pirated version, this is most likely your problem. There is MORE than one version of FDISK, and I repeat, since this is a pirated version, this is most likely the problem. The creation of the partition and installation of Windows was covered in your previous thread. (http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13455)

PC Mech will NOT endorse loading pirated software on to your machine, therefore cannot provide support to do so.
