Scar Alfa Romero Race Game

I can't seem to get a profile in my Logitech Extreem Digital joystick for the this game. I just updated the software into the 'profiler' software. I want to use the joy stick with the demo. I don't know if the game is not seeing the joystick or vice versa. Any help appreciated.
