Hello i have just purchased a second pc for the kids and for networking, i would like to install a video card i do not know how to disable the onborad graphics, can anyone give me a few tips please thanks :cool:

There's normally either an option in the BIOS or a jumper on the actual board. A lot of boards will also automatically disable the onboard graphics if a card is found in the AGP slot. Some may also do it if they find a video card BIOS on the PCI bus, also, but you can't assume it will do that :)
So... what's your motherboard make/model?

assuming the vid card is AGP, just pop it in. it should disable automatically like snod blatter said. if it doesn't, post back with your details (ie mobo and vid card) and we can give you better advice
