BYOPC threads

I have realized that lately there have been way more are these lists compatable threads than can you help me pick out parts threads. Any one think there is a reason for that or just a coincidence?

Consider that many people lurk these threads for info before they consider building their own. Then they may download the parts list we have stickied which gives them some type of reference to know what is need in hardware to build their own. Finally, they join up, ask a few questions and post their list for guidance/confirmation of compatible hardware. Plus, the BYOPC area is still new and tends to stand out. More folks are using the tools we've provided apparently instead of just jumping in with questions.

yeah....I'll admit it. I jumped in and asked questions. when I first joined everyone was all about the jumping in....things change.

Yep, my first several posts upon joining were about the building of and setting up a new computer, but after awhile, and after actually building mine, I gained some confidence and knowledge and was actually able to answer some questions rather than just asking. And that was back in "the ol' days" when there was no fancy schmancy "build your own pc" forum, just the general hardware forum :p.

yeah i went throuhg a lot of problems with my build that a lot people have posted about and can answer them with confidence :) i love the feeling of being right!!
