I was looking at buying Battlefield 2 and I noticed a difference in price between the CD and DVD versions. Are there any extra features that come with the DVD?
Thanks

Nothing extra comes with the DVD, and it's the same price (at least where I bought it.) The guy at the counter told me they are trying to phase DVD's in for storing games. This makes sense, since a DVD drive and a CD drive cost about the same amount now and most people have them. I am getting sick of having 5 CD's for a game install when it's easier and probably cheaper to use one DVD. Less wasteful, too.

It would cost me $10 more for the DVD at BestBuy. The game is on sale for $40 (CD) and $50 (DVD).
Thanks for the info.

Well, I don't know if the extra convenience (and it really is much more convenient to have it on one DVD rather than 5 or however many CDs) is worth the $10. But I'm sure there's someplace else you can buy it where they cost the same.

LOL!
That's a scam. Get it on CD if the DVD is $10 more. That's total BS, the DVD should be comparable (if not less) in actual production price. Good thing you asked, because there are NO extras on the DVD

Personally I'd get it on DVD anyway since I hate messing around with multiple CD's, even two.

Two isn't so bad, but three+ starts to get annoying.

I would go some where else, but I have a $20 gift card (for BestBuy) I was going to use. I may go with the CD version, just to save the extra 10 bucks.
