Those articles are comparing very low-end water cooling with very high-end air cooling, so there won't be much difference with those. try and find one that compares an Asetek Waterchill system, then you'll see the benefits or proper watercooling.

On my system there is a big difference. Also, you can barely hear my system when its clocked beyond what any air cooled system can do. Watercooling is well worth it for the performance and quiet.
