I tried to load Win XP Pro on my brand new PC I built and I got this message.... anyone know what's up with that?

Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer, make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer.

I have only one Hard Drive, it's a 300GB Western Digital and the only connector on it is the Serial ATA so I have it plugged in at the SATA1. Do I have to have a Hard Drive hooked to my IDE1 for windows to recognize it? are can I just use my SATA1 cable only. Also on my Hard Drive it has two places to power it up, one is a bigger SATA cable end and the other is like the regular power end. I don’t have to use both do I? Right now Im using the larger SATA cable end.

Thank’s in advance for any help!

You might need to press F6 and insert a floppy with the SATA drivers that "should" be on the mobo cd-rom.

On a working computer ->place the mobo cd in the drive and a blank floppy in the floppy drive to make the floppy.

At the very first part of the Win XP installation you'll see an option to press F6....
