MX-518 Optical Mouse - do I need any accessories?

Hello,

I am going to purchase the Logitech MX-518 Optical mouse and I am wondering do I need to purchase any feet or no stick pads and what about a mouse pad?

I use a plain $3 black mouse pad (slightly spongy, dull fabric surface) with my optical, no other accessories.

I am pretty sure optical mice work on every smooth surface that is not transparent.

You won't need anything. I used a piece of paper as a mousepad, although the static in it tended to collect dust. Now I just use the wooden desktop
