I have mouses I have been recommended and I cannot decide which to go with so would appreciate any help and opinions.

I will be mainly doing design work (with photoshop, etc.), watching dvds/movies and listening to music, and normal school work/internet surfing. Occasionaly I will play games such as COD and Battlefield.

Here are the mices I canot decide which to go with:

Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical 1.1 White Mouse - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16826105122
- Lifetime warranty, reviews say its just plain durable.

Logitech MX310 2 tone Mouse -
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16826104136
- Cheaper than the MX 510 and reviews say it can hold up to it.

Logitech MediaPlay Cordless Silver/Black Mouse -
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16826104168
- Would be great for media but is it good enough for my occasional gaming? and its wireless!

Personally id go with the mx510 in blue. I tried it at best buy and it feels comfortable in my hand.

Go down to a computer store and try the different ones out... use whichever feels most comfortable. Personally, I wouldn't get the 310 because of it's shape. I'd imagine the wireless won't have sufficient lag to affect your gaming. The Intellimouse looks fine, as do the 518 and 510

Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 With Tilt Wheel Technology! I have that baby and it works great. Feels awesome in your hand, tilt-wheel-ness, good battery life, it's perfect. Picked mine up for $20 after rebate at Staples a while ago. I plan on getting the new one with a fingerprint reader built in.

If you are into games, get the MX510 or MX518.
Some independent people have done tests on people with these mice, and it made them on average 30% more accurate in CS. It really does work, I've got one and I pwn up all my friends now! We used to be close. I find it really helps for when you need quick reactions in FPS games.
I've had it since September last year, and I haven't needed to clean it or anything, it looks new still.
I've got 'gamers hand' once from it though, it hugs your hand so well that there isn't much airflow............. I had an itchy palm for days! :D That took like 12hours at a LAN though
