I have this (http://xoxide.com/logisys-optical-fan-mouse-black.html) mouse because it is light and sweet looking. I game quite a bit, when I bought this mouse, i figured a mosue is a mouse. Little did I know that this mouse will occasionally spas out during games causing me to lose rounds for my team and myself. By spas out, I mean it will all of a sudden make my player look up or to the left or down. ANy way I can fix this? or is it just the mouse?

That's a very nice mouse for an occassional gamer and general purpose computer use.
You, OTOH, sound amazingly like a serious gamer.
I woud suggest you pass that mouse on to a deserving friend and investigate something like this : http://xoxide.com/razer-viper-1000dpi-mouse.html

Looks like a good choice.....but what about the Logitech MX518?? I used one at an AA tournament this weekend (which I won) and it had no problem like mine....I have found this to be a reall inconvenience and is hurtin me and my rep with my friend who believe i am using this as an excuse until they watch me play. Is there any solution to this problem or is it just the mouse?

In your case it's just the mouse.
Try out some specialist rodents for gamers and buy the one that handles the best for you.
I've read great things about the MX 518 but since I've never used it that's all I can say about it.

You said you've tried the mouse and found it to be good, so what's the issue?? Buy it, and regain your cred... btw, does it only happen in one game, or in all of them??

Well, I haven't noticed it much in Age of Mythology or Command and Conquer but it happens in CS, CZ, CS:S, HL2, AA. Then again...I have not play AOM or C&C in a while. I am only reluctant to get teh MX518 because I have no money and I just bought this mouse...and it is sweet looking and fits my hand very VERY comfortably. I will have to change tho bcuz this mouse is messing with my game and that cannot BE. This mouse nearly cost me $50 at a Lan Party I went to...Luckily I still came out victorious but it was a lot closer than it should have been.

It might... why not check their website. I notice it's only occuring during shooters, not during strategy. That suggests to me it doesn't like fast movements, and stores them up. Perhaps contact the mouse manufacturers help page and see if others are having this issue, and what could be done to resolve it. It could be as simple as re-updating drivers or something

Amazin Caucasian, there is not question about the MX518, if you are playing a lot of FPS, and since you mentioned AA, Im guessing you are.. then this is the mouse for you.
I recently purchased it for my new build that is coming together and I took it out of the packaging to give it a test drive on my old computer, and its amazing. Just get this mouse, you won't regret it
The mouse lets you adjust sensitivity on the fly, which is really cool, I tried it on CS:Source the other night and its a really neat tactic you should try. When you are just using a rifle, turn the sensitivity up higher how you like it, but when you pick up a sniper that has sights, with the click of a button you can have lower sensitivity just like that! And it really helps stable you when you are sniping.. that is just one awesome thing about this mouse!
Highly Recommended!
