"CD Recording Software Will Cause Windows to Become Unstable"

Every time I start my computer, Win XP displays the message above.I tried to solve the problem with the help of MS knowledge base (Q315345)
but there are some differences between this article and my PC :
1. when I search for cdr*.sys files I get these files : CDR4VSD.SYS, cdrbsvsd.sys, cdrom.sys instead of those two in the article (Cdr4_2K.sys, Cdralw2k.sys). Should I rename these my files to "old" as well?

2. when I go to registry editing I should find some 6 items and I should delete them. But of those 6 items I've found only one ("LowerFilters") and I deleted it.
But when I restart computer, the message is there again.

Do you have any idea what to do with it? Thanks.

Oops! That's the fix he refers to as (Q315345). He's tried that fix and is describing the inability to make all steps work. ;)

I didn't write that there are other items in registry, which are very similar to the ones mentioned in the article (Q315345) :

there should be HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdr4_2K
but I have HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdr4vsd
***************
there should be HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdralw2k
but I have HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\cdrbsvsd
******************
But I don't know is it safe to delete them. What do you think?
And I did reinstall recording software but it didn't help.

You're software, after I checked Google is this : http://www.bhacorp.com/
and there's an update out for it.
Since they have a support page they can give you the exact answer for that error.
If I had to guess I'd say the problem was the same one that's dogged Roxio software, the difference in Registry items is that it's someone elses software, but you don't have to guess.
Just drop these guys a line and follow their answer.

Thanks for your tip. I went to that website and downloaded an upgrade for my DVD drive. It didn't help but they have a FAQ site and my problem is described there. The procedure is almost the same as in the Q315345 but they mention exactly the same cdr4vsd.sys file to be renamed that I have in my computer. So I renamed it and after restart the warning isn't there anymore! Now I'm going to test my DVD drive for writing. I hope it'll work fine.

Many thanks for your time and help.
