Hey Mechers,

My friend just bought some of these speakers for his gaming comp.
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2177,CONTENTID=9067

I liked them alot and have been thinking about getting some. The only problem is that the cables are Very short. His room is maybe 7 x 10, and he cant put the rear speakers where they're supposed to be without having a wire hanging through the midlle of his room. They dont use regular speaker wire (like a stereo) that i can tell. Is there any way to lengthen the cable? Do all 5.1 setups in this price range have this problem?

Also, if anybody has any suggestions for other good 5.1 speakers that would be great. No more the $70.

Thanks

If I remember properly, I have seen cables at radioshack that can be used to extend wires like that. I'll do a search and if I find anything I'll post the link

Is this what you are thinking of?
http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F007%5F002%5F003%5F010&product%5Fid=42%2D2492

I also found this-

Whats the difference besides the length?

The first one says it acceps a 1/8" stereo plug
The second one says 1/8" stereo phone plug.

Which would i need?

Thanks

I do belive it was the first one..I think I also the same thing but in black, which might or might not blend better with your room so it is less obvious.
