Hi All
I have scanned a one page documents ( Letter head with text ) at KINKOS using Adobe Photoshop. It appears that the size of the file ( *.TIFF) is 14 MB. I got really suprised with the magnitude of file size. I want to save the scanned image in TIF or JPEG format. Then using Photoreader of "602PC Pro" package I can cut and paste the image in WORD document. I think you folks can sugest me some easy way out. The main objective is to save a one page document in some format, so that I can attach it with e-mail and/or fax it. Please help.
Thanks
Arup.

Get you an OCR program like TextBridge Pro. This will turn a graphic file (*.tiff) into editable text. Most come with an easy import into Word. The letterhead you will probably have to cut and save it as a gif file or try to recreate a similar image using WordArt.

At ten bucks a pop at Kinko's, it wouldn't take long before you could buy your own scanner........and decent OCR software.
