I'm sorry if this is one of those problems that has a really obvious answer and is asked every day, but I searched for it and couldn't find anything quite the same. My friend's computer has a <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=24&k=200gb%20hard%20drive" onmouseover="window.status='200gb hard drive'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">200gb hard drive</a> that is only showing 30gb of space. It appears that the bios thinks that the <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=24&k=hard%20drive" onmouseover="window.status='hard drive'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">hard drive</a> is only 30gb as well. He's running WinXP and has a DFI NFII Ultra Infinity motherboard. The harddrive, as far as I can tell, is a Hitachi 200gb IDE drive. (It also has "Deskstar" written on it) It's 7200 RPM. If it matters he is also running an Athlon XP 2000+. When I went to reformat it said that the partitioned space is around 30 gb and the unpartitioned 8mb. If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: I forgot to mention that it could be a BIOS limit, as in the stickied thread, but I searched google and could find no indication that there's such a limit on this <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=24&k=mother%20board" onmouseover="window.status='mother board'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">mother board</a>.
