I have two monitors set up on my windows XP system using my onboard video card and a pci card. Is it possible to add a third monitor by adding a third pci card? Anyone have any ideas?:)

I have seen up to four. As long as you have enough video outputs, you can do it.

 I have installed a Trident Video Accelerator 6440, the drivers are not loading. I keep gettingan error message 10. What does that mean? Also anyone know where I might get a reasonably inexpensive dual monitor card?
That card is probably having resource conflicts with the other video card - this is quite common when you use multiple cards. Some combinations work fine with each other, others won't.

Almost all cards will support dual monitors -- just make sure there are two output plugs. ALmost all cards have one VGA and one DVI plug socket, and you can use them both at once. Rare exceptions exist for "low profile" cards like the Sapphire X300 low profile.
If you want more than two monitors, I strongly suggest two identical PCI cards.
There's always the Quadro 4 NVS 400 PCI card - it's quad head.
