Just bought this off of eBay for about $48 new, including shipping.

Pros:
-One button controls light intensity (low, high, off). I don't really know a time you would use the low because it's almost the same as high. One of the things I look forward to are Friday nights where I turn off my room lights, surf the web, chat on AIM, and listen to music. The lighted keyboard allows me to do all of this conveniently and efficiently.
-Three buttons control sound (increase, decrease, mute). Very convenient because you don't have to reach over to your speakers or open your music player.
-Very soft and quiet keys.
-Plastic hand rest included. It sounds tough, but it's better than no hand rest and I don't like the feel of cushioned hand rests. The hand rest connects itself to the keyboard, and can be set in two positions (flush to keyboard or about 0.5" off, I use the later).

Cons:
-Located near the top of the keyboard are three lights that indicate Caps Lock and two other things. These lights are little brighter than the ones on the keys, and can be a little annoying at first, but you'll quickly get use to it.
-Some of the lights the light up entire keys (only for the buttons with many letters, like Page Up, Pause/Break, etc. But that isn't really a problem.

Final score: 9/10

I highly suggest you to get this lighted keyboard if you don't have one yet!

Thanks for that Matthew... obviously a good un
Have you tried covering the CAPs etc. lights?? It's not as if you really ever use them

One con I would add is the fact that this keyboard is not detected during Windows installation. I have to switch to my old HP keyboard if I want to reinstall Windows, but other than that, it's a terrific keyboard.

yea, I was thinking of covering it. There are 3 buttons, one on the left that is always on (has a 1 inside a rectangle), a caps lock key, and one that has an arrow facing downwards. Any ideas of what they represent? My keyboard didn't come with a manual.

Numlock, caps lock, and scroll lock.
