i have a pc and Mac Computer at home. before i have 2 boardband link, one for pc and one for Mac. it cost too much to keep both boardband connection. i decide to cut one of them. is there a way PC and Mac can share the same boardband link. If i bought a wireless router, can i share my broadband connection to both PC and MAC

A router will allow a pc and mac to share the same connection. I would get a 4 port wireless router to cover all your bases.

a hub (nor do most SOHO/residential switches) does not have IP address capability so it can not share an IP address across multiple machines. routers are the only devices that can...

I have an iBook and 2 PC's on the same network. Just get a 30 or 40 dollar router and you will be good to go. The answer to your question is yes, but only with a router. Make sure you secure it too if you are getting a wirless router.

Sure. I think a crossover cable should do it.
