I have problems with one computer. Each time i want to share a folder .. this folder is not accessible by my other computer in my home network. In the folder sharing properties the '' the share this folder on the network '' is checked. The '' allow networks users to change my files '' is also checked. The network name is the same for all computers. The file and printer sharing is enabled.

I can see it on '' my network places '' but when i click on it it says i dont have permission.

However , when i go on the shared folder properties is say that all the files is read only .. when i uncheck it and apply it keeps coming back ... my home network is on way only ....

what can i do ... ?? i have configured all the computers the same way .. only this one gives me troubles ....

second question .. how to get rid of oudated shared folder from a computer removed from the network ?? the folder still show ..

EDIT : éé Finally i discovered that all my folders on this computers is read only .. but this setting keep coming back when i uncheck it !!!

help :)
