problems with 9600 series card

ive recently been getting an error while playing games such as farcry etc, i get an ATI catalyst error report saying that it has had to be restored because it has stopped responding to graphical commands.

Any ideas what this is?

It *might* be overheating, I had this happen a couple times, then nearly burned my finger touching the heatsink.

What kind of cooling set up do you have? (ie, how many case fans?)

1 on side, 2 on back, one on PSU, not sure if cooling is an issue, i watched it in the BIOS and it seemed to be okay, plus ive had overheating crashes before, they tend to just straight reset and wont turn back on until cool.

I think it could be to do with me not using an anti-static wristband when playing with the components *cough*
