If you're running a non Windows OS, and you want to force the boot video to low resolution [640 x480 or 800 x 600] is there a way do so through BIOS or another way?
Or once the OS is booted, is there a way to get around the OS to force the video down to a lower resolution?
This is for onboard video chip SIS 740 with Phx BIOS, and SIS 700/740 motherboard.
