Does anyone know any hot cases that i can use for my build. I dont exactly understand how my colling is supposed to be set up.
Im gonna use a pentium 4 extreme edition with HT technology
975X intel chipset(hope its compatible):(
I just need a case that will keep my prosessor and other thing really cool and in good shape.:D
Look at any ATX case, you can find them on
www.Newegg.com
www.Xoxide.com
www.Zipzoomfly.com
www.Directron.com
www.Frozencpu.com (sometimes a little on the high side)
Theres just a small list, just find one that you like and has a ATX form factor. Also dont forget to review this Power Supply thread before using the one that comes with some cases, or buying one.

I've been quite fond of Thermaltake's Xaser III series, has 7 fans and you can place your harddrives sideways !

It's a pretty big case, won't suggest it if you don't have the room, or just don't plain like large cases, but I think its just plain awesome! ;p

Choosing a case is a personal matter. What someone else likes, you might not. We can offer suggestions but in the end you have to make the final choice.
Do you have a budget for your case?
Since you're getting a P4 you need to get a case that follows the Intel P4 thermal design...these have a side fan port over the CPU to help bring cool air directly to the heatsink.
Here are some articles you can look over:

Here (http://www.intel.com/cd/channel/reseller/asmo-na/eng/tech_reference/box_processors/int_inst_info/proc_tested_source_lists/53211.htm) is Intels list of cases that they have certified as compliant with thier Thermally Advantaged Chassis standard. Here (http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/975x/index.htm) is the link to that chipset at intel. It says that it will suport that Processor. It is going to be using the same LGA 775 socket.

I have a case from Aspire and I love it. I purchased it off tiger direct. I have 4 fans running with a 7-Channel fan controller made by Ultra. Heres the links.

I really like the thermal take tai chi models, and they come with built in watercooling so less fans ;)

www.amamax.com has some nice case deals too...for a budget..
you can also look at www.pricewatch.com for cases...
You might check out the review of the new Stacker case from Cooler Master coming out in December at this link http://www.hardwarezone.com/articles/view.php?cid=22&id=1764 . It looks very well built with more than sufficient cooling options. Looks like the only negative is price...
Good luck
