I have a strange problem with a new GeForce 6200 AGP.

It seems to install with no problems and the main game I got it for runs great with it as well as most other games I checked with a few flickers in some.

The main problem I have is that just using a browser or on some windowed programs the screen goes black for a moment then restores to normal.

Windows 98SE also will not shut down properly and automatically reboots and runs scandisk.
All drivers etc. etc. have been updated, defrag, blah, blah... I've also checked and rechecked all possible combinations of the Bios/Cmos settings.

If I put the old GF PCI card back in everything works as normal without having to change anything other than detecting the changed card.

The only thing I'm not too sure about is the Power Source might be less than the 350w min. the card specs call for. Would this cause this type of problem?

Motherboard: FIC VI13
512 memory
GeForce 6200 AGP
OS: Windows 98se

I believe what is happening is that the video card is changing resoluyions between the games and normal windows work. An old system I had that ran 98SE did the same thing with games.

I'm sure that's not the problem, I reinstalled the card and it installed fine, then just told windows to shutdown and it won't shutdown right, reboots and runs scan disk.
