I have:
WD Raptor 74GB in SATA
WD 2000JB 200GB IDE Channel 1 as Master
DVD Burner drive on IDE Channel 2 as Master
DVD ROM drive on IDE Channel 2 as Slave

Ok, I'm trying to boot off the WD Raptor, and have made sure that its the boot drive in BIOS. However when I boot up the computer just says "Please insert a boot disk" and I hear the A: looking for something. So, I've tried loading the OS onto the 2000JB and it works fine as the boot drive. And now that I have 2 OS on 2 different drives it allows me to load the WD Raptor's copy of windows. So, my problem is how do I make it so that I can just boot off the Raptor and not need a copy of Windows on the 2000JB? I've tried deleting the partition on the 2000JB and the bootup goes back to "Please insert a boot disk". Is there something I need to do like set the 2000JB to Slave? Any help is appreciated

I'm using an Abit An8-sli. I disconnected my 2000JB drive and did a fresh install of WinXP on the Raptor and now it works again. I'm debating whether or not to reconnect the 2000JB now
