I just got my X850XTPE 30 min ago. It's up and running and please belive I can run EVERY game I own MAXED out with no lag. This is including CoD2.
I had to tell someone that. :D :cool:

This shows that AGP can still game :) This is "older" technology, but that is not much behind a cuurent top of the line computer with PCI-E, DDR2, and newer cpu's. I still think a 478 socket / AGP computer is the way to build a budget computer these days. Great motherboard, cpu, and video card. That will be a gaming beast for a long time. Nice build, and happy gaming.

I am using an AGP 9600 AIW and it works great. While AGP is gettign phased out, it still works nicely.

Glad you like it Darth... I'm still playing games on this computer on a GeForce MX440, now that's an old-school piece of kit, but it still manages admirably

Yeah my "old" VPU/GPU whatever (9800Pro) ran my games fine but with the new card I'm getting 20-30 fps greater. And that is with all the eye candy turned on. And with the 9800 I'd be mid-high settings with lower fps. Unforunatly my 1st person skills still aren't up to scratch as much as they used to be.

Great Darth Revan !!! Isn't it nice to to see all the eye-candy?? It does make a difference :) -- I recently upgraded, but to a lesser card than yours, but boy-howdy what a difference! Congrats!
