Gotta watch out. Especially since it's holiday season, keep a keen eye out to make sure it's a legit player! :D

lol, i mean if they are going to try and copy it, try and do a good job. Seriously though, if anyone had seen an ipod before in their life, they would know that that would be one of the farthest things from it.`

the only way anyone would confuse that with a real ipod is if they were blind.

As long as it works, and is cheaper than the real thing, of course people will buy it, but i doubt if a lot of people if any are actually gonna believe that that is a real ipod.

If it works, then it's going to be the real thing...I don't think it be too easy to replicate a working ipod and still work. That thing in the picture is probably an empty casing.

I wasn't aware that there was fake i-pods going around... Now I'm wondering...
Telus, that great phone Co. in Canada are trying to sign up new customers to their ADSL.
They are offering free I-Pods if you do...
Anyone know if they are legit or not...

When you ask your parents to bring you an iPod from their trip to europe, be prepared to get one of those.

it shouldn't take long for criminals to get a chinese company to manufacture identical ipod cases with crappy, but working technology. the demonstration device will be original.
by the time you realize that some features don't work and it doesn't sound like an ipod, you'll be half way around the world.

Dave C, they're a reputable company and wouldn't pull a scam like this

I can honestly say I've never seen an iPod up close. I just don't know anyone with one, nor do I care

Parents or Grandparents who may have never seen an Ipod may be fooled while Christmas shopping. Somebody who doesn't know what one looks like might be pulled in easily.

That's what I was thinking.

true, but whenever i buy stuff from south east asian markets, i make the guy prove to me that its legit, i mean it was in a market, obviously you should be on your guard then.
