i'd like to know how it goes, i know the drivers are almost impossible to find [hang in there those with 64bit]..but are software becoming availabe in 64bit? or has there been an emulator that this OS uses to use 32bit software...i'd like to know whats being done, or some big software company out there making their products in 64bit version also, sound exciting

got it, and stay well away.
It'll be great when all the drivers and programs become compatible. But untill then, unless you want to use a lot of ram for a server, then go right ahead.
If you want 64bit win, then wait for vista, itll give time for developers to make drivers etc.

is VIsta only available in 64bit version or is there a 32bit Vista?

x64 does run 32 bit applications.
The x64 architecture, when combined with Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, can run the thousands of 32-bit programs available today.

vista will be available in 32bit, also there are quite alot of programs and games that arent compatible with x64 like lego starwars, a game which i hod wanted because it combined two of my fav. things. So it was distressing when i saw the not compatable with os message show up in the intstaller, i was distraught.
